char kueh tiau

When you talk about Taiping food, you will definitely hear the most talkabout Taiping charkuetiau! So how does it look? Delicious? Salivating already?

lobak

Charkuetiaus aside, these lobaks are must have!

More fried goodies! Fried tofu, fried youtiau, fried spring rolls and fried meat rolls! Yummy yummy!

salted egg crabs

Salted egg crabs! Sinfully delicious, I tell you!

fish head beehoon

A soupy bowl of fish head beehoon. After all those flavourful food, it is nice to have something bland.

Pictures above were taken at the food court near Lake Garden during my last food excursion to Taiping. That place was great! Scenic view, good food, peaceful life and a plentiful of rain!

About Me

Hi! welcome to my food blog. I am Jo, and *~Riceballz~* a blog about my personal journey of gastronomical experience and culinary experiments.

Starting from just something for me to look back about the things I ate, Riceballz has grown into including the food that I cooked and some recipes of food that I tried, tested and really like. I hope I can fill up this blog with more delicious food photos and my thoughts about it, so stay tuned!
