Oooo!!! Delicious chicken mushroom pizza with lotsa cheese toppings from US Pizza! US Pizza is another pizza place very much like Pizza Hut, Shakey’s and Domino’s. One thing I like about them is that they serve scrumptious pizzas made to order, and their cheese toppings are generous.
And to top that off, you can get two pizzas for the price of one! Visit US Pizza on Tuesdays! Their double Tuesday deal, is a good deal considering how much pizzas in US Pizza cost.
If you are dining in, do try out their garlic twist. Very simple bread, but very nice. They do offer set meals for two or four person. The set comes with garlic twist, barbecued wings and American ice tea.
They also have an extensive ala carte menu that consists of a variety of salad, soup and pastas to choose from. I like their mushroom soup! Much, much better than the two pizza joints aforementioned but the soup must be ordered separately.
That’s why it tasted better, eh?

Their choices of pizza is quite impressive, ranging from meat based pizzas to vegetarian pizzas. They also serve local flair pizzas, such as curry chicken, penang, tom yam and the likes. And then they have two choices of crust which I think one is coated with garlic sauce, and another is a super thin crust which I like so much! I highly recommend the thin crust!
Oh, you can also order a half and half pizza for an additional price, or you can simply assemble your own pizza. Just tell the waitstaff the ingredients that you want.

Out of curiousity, we ordered this vegetarian pizza for once. Surprise!

Vegetarian pizza actually taste good. Oh so good. Eggplants, potatoes, mushrooms, carrots and capsicum, I have no idea they blend together so well!
Remember! Double Tuesday!

To tell the truth, when you chance upon some place new and dangerously empty, you will have mixed feelings about whether to eat there or not. That was what happened to me when I stopped at Pacific Batu Pahat for a quick bite before driving to ZenXin for the dragonfruit.

Surprisingly, my worries were actually unfounded, given that their Bangers ‘n’ Mash which consist of beef sausages, bacons and mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy is fork lickin’ good.

The menu is very promising. I am already eying the roasted chicken pasta and scampi ‘n’ chips sets. Sigh!!! I wished that I had walked in with an empty stomach. Some other time maybe.

Its clean and its tasty. I like! The only downside is that it is not a franchise, at least not yet, from the look of it.

Final exam’s on next week, so I will be taking a break from foodie and cooking adventures in the meantime. Trust me it is hard to eat for the sake of filling the stomach and nothing else, so after the exam I hope I ave something new to post up.
In the meantime I hope you will enjoy these decent photos from my food photo archive. These photos were taken sometime back in Amigo’s. I am sure if you stay long enough in Malacca you will know this place. This eatery is a famous grill and chop place in Melaka Raya, along the row of Red Square karaoke.

I like this. Their mushroom soup is something out of ordinary, and definitely not canned soup-ish.

Black pepper chicken chop and mushroom chicken chop. Two of the most ordered chicken chops when I used to hang out there with all my ex-house mates.
You can’t tell but from the pictures but this place is quite busy. My ex-house mates usually haunt this place in the weekends, and so did the weekend dinner crowd.

Thank God Its Friday! Better yet, it was a Saturday. Never visited this place before, so, to celebrate JY’s graduation, I actually stepped in and risked busting the wallet.
Never mind. Heh. The RM39.90 set, which includes appetizer, main course and dessert is reasonable enough.
One thing I hate about living in the urban area is the difficulty in finding a parking space, and coupled with a hungry stomach, one tend to overeat later.

First to arrive was this mac and cheese appetizer. It was like eating cheese itself - in blocks. I wolf them down almost immediately. Hungry.
See what I mean? By the second piece I was all too full. Tasty as it was, cheesielicious stuffs are not my piece of appetizer.

The main course, BBQ beef ribs. The meat is very tender and juicy. I like! Kinda wondering if it is appropriate to suck the bones, LOL!
The only gripe about the ribs would have to be the sauce. The menu said something about apple butter sauce, but since the excessive BBQ sauce overpowered everything, I can’t taste any apple butter.

Another main course, the Fisherman’s platter. Fish fillets, shrimps and calamari fried with batter. This is kinda like an impromptu order, because I saw the table next to us munching calamari rings, and I couldn’t resist. They came hot, crispy and fun to munch on, but I had problem finishing the chips.

Cookies ‘n cream! I would’ve chosen the mud pie, but they ran out of it, so I chose this instead. Nothing impressive, and I would say that the shortbread is too sweet.
That ends my TGI Friday’s experience. Not too bad, I’d say.
