As with most of the tenants of Citta Mall, MeatWorks has just opened for business. MeatWorks is a unique concept, blending a full-blown Restaurant, Butchery, Deli and MeatStudio. The variety of meat selection on sale was impressive and worth a try.

Cut to the chase: We were here to have lunch, and for the meat. This is the beef burger served with fries and a side of greens.

The interior was warm, welcoming and cozy. Lovely place to dine and unwind. The food, aligned with the concept of all things hearty, healthy and natural, is minimally seasoned. The downside was that both our meat came overcooked, instead of tasting the natural flavour of the beef, it was downright tough and bland. Perhaps it was a teething problem with new stores? We were willing to believe that is the case.
