Hon Kee Porridge @ USJ Taipan
There’s a newly opened branch of Hon Kee’s porridge in USJ Taipan. The shop originates from Petaling Street and has a history of selling really smooth and nice mushy porridge since decades ago.
The also have a snack menu, populated by fried snacks such as crullers, radish cakes and prawn crackers.
Business is really bustling. The place is usually jam packed during mealtimes. Checkout the newspaper features on the wall.
Their porridge: soft, mushy and flavourful. Comes in a variety of flavours.
Sweet desserts, such as this red bean soup, is also available.
Nasi lemak, for those who is not into porridge.
Curried pork and potatoes.
Some fried snacks. Pretty good ones.

I visit taipan hon kee three times already, but three times i also not satisfied cause the porridge is not hot enough even make until the fish also not cook. And the staff service is very bad.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I hope that the management of Hon Kee take notice and improve on their service.
