I pass by USJ 19 City Mall daily and it was one of those days when I was paying attention that I caught sight of this:

Milwaukee Steak House

A steakhouse!

Having a steakhouse so near to where I am staying is a good thing. There’s no need to go so far when I need a bite, plus parking is free there so its all good.

Wall full of macho biker pics.

We ordered lamb and beef to test water. They have a choice of brown sauce or black pepper sauce. Besides steak, they also sell western fares such as pasta, seafood, sandwiches and others.

Interesting tiled table and cutleries.

Coming from someone with limited experience in consuming beef, I can say that this place serves good steak. When I asked for medium rare, the steak came exactly like how it should: Cooked overall outside, but the cross section reveals red, juicy meat. It was really succulent and flavourful. The sides complements as well, bland vegetables soaked up the sauce nicely, packing a different texture to the meal.

The lamb, on the other hand, was well done. Also flavourful, and the distinct smell of lamb was not that noticeable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

They do serve dessert, but alas, I no longer have stomach space for those.

Since this is a new outlet, everything seems to be brand new and good. they have booth seats, which I like, although they have very limited seat in the air-conditioned area. Lots of seat outside, which is good for gatherings and yumcha sessions at night.

The view from inside the mall, and the open kitchen.

Hopefully, this place can maintain their quality, as I can see myself returning every now and then.
