Tenji Japanese Buffet @ Solaris Mont Kiara
This year round my birthday falls on a public holiday, and I am happy that so many people celebrated with me. My ex-colleague and her guy came from Malacca and we went to Tenji for some food splurge.
Because J and I are stubborn enough not to get that damned piece of bleeping GPS, it took us sometime to find the place. We still maintain that we are not getting that piece of annoying, talking map though.
Tenji has an assortment of food not entirely Japanese, but Chinese and whatnots as well. The variety is good for picky eaters like me.
These are some of the food photos that I managed to take:

The raw seafood were quite fresh and I managed to slurp some oyster, despite my initial squeamishness. Yes I am like that. We also ate alot of steamed seafood. I liked the steamed cod the most.

What is this called? We picked our own ingredients and soup.

Honestly the desserts are just not good. We were all grossed out. They are more for the looks than for consumption.

Baskin Robbins ice cream. Couldn’t go wrong with this <3

My favourite drink ever! Have I mentioned about drinking this every meal when I was in Haadyai? Ah, I’ll post that later.
In all, it was really a fun and relaxed outing. Love it when the food is good and the company was wonderful.

[...] Variety and selection wise almost the same as the other Japanese buffet I’ve visited (Tenji in Solaris Mont Kiara), taste-wise it was almost the same as well. Maybe because I don’t eat that much of cooked [...]
A pleasant discovery of your writings when I was trying to find Tenji’s telephone number. Have been trying to contact them for the whole day but no one picked up despite the ringing tone. Do we need to book in advance?
Yes, booking in advance is needed. Perhaps you can try to call during their opening hours?
