Kuala Selangor Seafood Binge

Date: 27 Oct 2009 Comments: 2 so far

Daddy has a knack for finding all the nice food in secluded places and I have to say, I am lucky to have such a dad. :P

boat

Here we are, in Kuala Selangor, looking at tugboats bringing in the freshest catch while waiting for seafood in this stilted restaurant overlooking the bay.

boat

Playing with different light settings with my PNS.

steam fish

Three-flavoured steamed fish. Sour and savoury with a mild sweetness from the fresh fish, this is a must order each time we eat here.

scallop

This is the garlic scallop. Garlicky! I like the scallop’s texture.

crab

The crab, which, disappointingly not as fresh and not as fleshy, but the gravy is superb. Now I couldn’t remember what gravy it was exactly, but it should be butter, or in Cantonese, nai yau.

sotong fritters

Sotong fritters. I could pop these in my mouth like popcorns.

bread

This deep fried bread goes nicely with the crab’s gravy.

dip

See what I mean?

restaurant

The restaurant. Its just a left turn if you are coming from the general direction of Klang. Easy peasy. :D
