Laksa Shack
Dear loyal readers (my dad, and another two friends? Strike that, make it one), a thousand apologies for serving you the same steamboat buffet photos that haunts you in your nightmare, let me clear up some old foodie pics and we’ll get more delicious foodie posts, fresh from the kitchen!
Funny how I used to lament that roadside stalls should be cleaner and air conditioned, but at the same time resenting the very same establishment doing their business that way.
Now you would want to ask, what is there to hate now?
Its the price dear, the price. Tsk.
In Laksa Shack, you don’t need to travel all over Malaysia to taste different versions of laksa. You can enjoy all of them under one roof in air conditioner. That means, no more sweat and tears while you slurp away to the spicy laksa soup!
They have Penang laksa, Nyonya laksa, and a few more types that I couldn’t recall. This is the Sarawak Laksa. The gravy is a tad too thick for my liking.

I prefer the lontong as the gravy was very lemak (creamy) and flavourful.

Set meals comes with a free drink of sirap bandung. I can’t recall the price but, suffice to say I will not return for a very, very long time. This franchise store is available in some major shopping complexes, and for my instance I tried the one in MBO Melaka.
