A Taste of Korean @ Tok Su Gong

I don’t always eat Korean (the food I mean!) which is why an authentic Korean restaurant like Tok Su Gong gave me culture shock the first time I dine in there a few years back. With better knowledge of what to order now, I don’t feel as intimidated to walk in the door than the last time.
The first culture shock was the side dishes which I am kinda warm of the idea now. I mean, free flowing side dishes! What is there not to like? Hehehe, I always wanted seconds for the spinach dish!

The steamed egg on stone pot is also one of my favourite side dish, despite the fact that it is tongue scalding hot. Ouch!

This hot beancurd soup is the same as the one I had last time in Dae Jang Gum.

A very well stirred bibimbap. I would’ve wanted to take picture of the nicely arranged veggies and meat, but since the waitress offerred to stir them, I might as well, yeah? They can do it better than me, that’s for sure!

A nice dessert of cut fruits and Korean tea. Aside from the sum of the main course plus tax, everything else is free! Pretty reasonable for all the refills of side dishes and teas that I asked for.
