gong woh tong

Koong Woh Tong herbal jelly. I’ve seen this name when I was a kid and they were in Petaling Street! Or is it? They have since expanded and Koong Woh Tong franchise is almost everywhere. This shop is in Aeon Bukit Tinggi.

Their herbal jelly is available in two sizes, and you can share if you can’t finish. They provide small bowls. Taste wise, they do taste a lot like Chang Chun. As far as I know, it was made with almost the same herb, no?

wall deco

Nice wall paintings.

Old school, er I mean, antique wall decorations.

Where there’s herbal jelly, there’s herbal tea. They come hand in hand, no doubt. Koong Woh Tong’s herbal tea is just so- so, though.

herbal jelly urn

Big urn containing herbal jelly. Oooh, oozing with traditionalism, I like!
