Tortilla Rolls

This isn’t exactly a real recipe, but it is easy to make and requires the minimum amount of ingredients. Best of all, despite of that, they are good.

taco

The two main ingredients are as shown: Tortilla and taco seasoning mix. The recipe for the taco fillings are given behind the package, and this is what I did.

I used diced chicken meat, cucumber, tomatoes and onion. Heat up some oil in the pan and add in the onion. Saute until the onion is soft, add in chicken and cook in high heat. When the chicken is cooked, add in the cucumber and tomatoes and swirl them around for a bit, because these two stuffs could be eaten raw, so no sweat.

Oh yeah, in the meantime, toast the tortillas in an oven or in a pan over the stove.

Mix the seasoning mix with some water (not too much!) and stir into the chicken and veggies, let them simmer for awhile and turn off the fire.

wrap

All left now is to wrap the stuffs up, and add some cheese. You can’t go wrong with cheese! Roll them up nice and tuck in.

Personally I think that the fillings would be nice if the taco sauce is substituted with a mixture of chilli and tomato too, just in case I can’t find taco sauces.
