Dae Jang Gum
Anyo haseyo! This time round I am posting up some pictures taken while dining in Dae Jang Gum. These were taken a month or two back, right after final exams. I’ve been passing by this place every time in Melaka Raya, so the itch to try it out was great.
Anyone who watches the popular Korean series Jewel in The Palace will know the mascot of this place, Da Chang Jin.

The idea of eating Korean food is still quite new to me. *Wipe hands with towel*

We opted for pork, on the safe side, and the waitress came to cook the meat for us all thoroughly. How disappointing. I thought I could play a bit, but never mind.

Fresh lettuce.

Spicy bean curd soup. I love them hot and spicy!

A table full of side dishes, all refillable. Here are some close up shots of the side dishes.
Fried anchovies and peanut.

Cockles.

Braised eggs.

Bean sprouts.

Green chili cuts and garlic.

Salt and bean paste dippings.

It was good experience, even when we have some communication problem with the server. Price is on the expensive side though, and the place is kinda empty when we were there, which is on a weekday dinnertime.
