One of the many dishes that can be made with minced meat is this pork cutlet. A combination of simple ingredients can make a wonderful dish that is good enough to eat on its own, with rice, or sandwiched between bread. Simply versatile.

Ingredients:

150g minced pork

20g minced onion

15g minced garlic

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 tablespoon light soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon grounded white pepper

1/2 teaspoon grounded black pepper

1 egg

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients evenly. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan.
  3. Form the meat into patties. If it is too wet, pat dry with kitchen towel.
  4. Put the meat patties into the frying pan. Let it fry for 2 minutes before flipping it to the other side.
  5. Pan fry both sides until they are golden brown.
  6. Serve hot.

I’ve made some potatoes and bacon to go with the pork cutlet this time, and they complement each other rather well too.
