Seoul Garden BBQ Buffet

Written on March 15, 2007 – 11:34 am | by Jo |

Watched 300 today! Was shopping and thinking of what to eat in Mahkota Parade with sis and JY. Since Korean is the new thing in the mall, we went for it. RM16.99 per person for student price. LOL. I think they definitely earn from us. We could never eat that much anyway.

hotplate

Okay, this is the hotplate with a small pot of boiling soup in the middle. We chose baby abalone soup base. Must add RM4.00 for that. Oh, that’s ma soeur taking pictures.

squid

The squid. *Two thumbs up*

assorted fishball

The fishball stuffs. If I am going for a second time, I am not taking any of these.

seafood

Some prawns and cockles. Is it cockles or clams har? I know its some shellfish.

meat

The marinated beef and chicken. Black pepper beef’s the best!

sauce

The sauces. We took almost all types of sauces, lol!

tidbits

Some tidbits. The fried tausarpau is nice. At first I thought the triangle thingy was yam triangle, but it turned out to be spicy one…

cooking

*Busy cooking*

vege

On a second thought, I returned to the buffet spread to take some blanched spinach, kimchis and leeks.

prawn

Today’s dish #1: Sauteed prawn with special sauce by moi.

beef

Today’s dish #2: Stir fried beef with onion, spring onions and leek, also by moi.

Selfish shellfish soup.

icecream
I love the chopped nuts!
ice cream

And at least three servings of ice creams with chopped peanuts and cocktail fruits.

I think we can’t finish everything we took lor. Fearing the food wastage penalty, we got up and walk fast fast after we were done. So damn hard to walk fast with a bursting full stomach I tell you!
