A Wedding Banquet’s Dessert

Written on February 2, 2007 – 3:01 am | by Jo |

I’ve just attended a wedding dinner back in my hometown some time back. Our family is quite close to the groom’s family, most of our family members were invited and we get to occupy a whole table by ourselves, which means…

no need to eat extra polite! can burp and pick teeth with toothpick! can play with food! No need to feel as shy as being thrown together with a group of strangers lo. The dinner was held in Tai Chong Seafood Restaurant, one of the better restaurant in my hometown. Dad loves to eat there.

Since it is a wedding dinner, I paiseh to take food pics la. Later other guests thought I am suaku or what. Sweat. But seriously, the food was decent that night, taking into account the amount of tables that they were catering to. There were the usual nine course dishes that consisted of four season dish, shark fin soup, chicken, fish, prawn, pork, fungi, rice and vegetable dishes.

By the way, this is good.

fried ice cream

Piping hot and fluffy fried ice cream dessert! Its kinda messy to eat, but nice nonetheless. Lucky me, I picked a chocolate one. Yummy!
