Tea @ Kopitiam
This Bandar Baru Klang’s Kopitiam is my aunts’ favourite haunt. I was out shopping with them the other day, and having nothing to do, I grabbed my new camera along to play abit. Heh.
Bandar Baru Klang’s Kopitiam is one of the many Kopitiam franchises that sprouts in the recent years. True to kopitiam style, they serve traditional kopitiam fare such as toasted kaya and butter bread, kopi-o, a variety of local food as well as a little bit of Hongkie and western stuffs.
As it was just for tea time and not wanting to spoil dinner, we didn’t order much.

Just some fruit rojak with extra peanut toppings.

A bowl of curry noodles. Is it called laksa in the southern states?

And some kaya butter toasts to go with the coffee.

My cousin having some toast. That cheeky fella drank the whole glass of my lemon honey when I didn’t pay attention!

They have this dangling stuff suspended from the ceiling. Kinda nice when those paper mache sway gently as the fan blows. The interior is decorated ala old style kopitiam too, just that with the additional air conditioner it feels so much better than old school.
